Halla University welcomes ¡®2015 Young Road Art Camp: Life Update with Warm Meeting with Mentors¡¯ for local art major students. The camp is hosted by Presidential Committee on Young Generation and sponsored by Halla University. The participants will meet at Halla Convention Center in Kumho World Education Building on November 13, 2015 (Fri).
¡°Young Road¡± is a career-mentoring program that Presidential Committee on Young Generation has been running since 2013. It is a nationwide touring program that supports young people especially in isolated areas that lack information and advice for careers, employment, or job opening. Particularly the new art camp this year will help young artists who need specialized information and opportunities in their non-typical art job market and will hear from their senior directors and artists.
This program is supposed to supplement the existing art-oriented school curriculum and give young artists opportunities to think about career in advance and orientate their path. It will organize lectures on arts, lunch with mentors, senior mentoring, and networking.
The Jeju art camp has Han, Dong-heon (Micimpact CEO.) as a guest speaker who will talk about a social role and value of the artists and share his story. Besides, 10 other mentors of various art managers, planners, and professional artists will tell their experience in the field and talk about the art as a career.
