held a ceremony of hanging a  signboard of International Chinese Language Teacher Training Station of Nankai University on November 3.

In the celebration ceremony, Halla and Nankai University assured that they would cooperate to spread Chinese language and to grow together to be world-class universities through this new training station, not to mention existing Korean Chinese Language Research Center of Halla-Nankai University and Confucius Institute. In the event, the Vice-President of Nankai University Mr. Guan Naijia was awarded an appreciation plague.

Chinese Language International Program is a 2-year graduate degree program of Nankai University that trains candidates to teach Chinese to foreigners and promote the language worldwide. The candidates of this degree are recognized as experts on Chinese language and culture with multicultural capacity as well as excellent teaching methods.

International Chinese Language Teacher Training Station at Halla will provide opportunities to practice to those teacher trainees. This program will expand the range of exchange between the two universities beyond an undergraduate to a graduate level.
