The annual Halla global mentor-mentee program helps the international students to settle down and understand the new culture in Halla and at the same time benefits the local students and faculty to learn foreign languages.
Especially in 2015, more than 200 students and faculty members applied for the program, so each mentee mostly had two mentors.
The mentor-mentee program will last 10 weeks long, starting from the second semester. The partners meet every week for more than 1 hour, and they decide what to do during the meeting. Then they report their journal to the Office of International Affairs (OIS) or post their activities on OIS homepage or Band (SNS). Excellent partners will be awarded in the end of the program.
Shin, Eui-Kyung, the Director of OIS said, "I expect this program will enable Halla students to strengthen their global capabilities, and at the same time foreign students to feel Halla at home and enjoy their life here."
