All 15 of the CHU students who participated in the 3^rd World Beauty Arts and Design Competition received awards this year. The competition was hosted by the Youth Human Resources Project Hairstylist Training Program, which receives support from the government of Jeju, and was attended by CHU Department of Beauty Arts students in the second year of their studies. Ji Dohun won gold in the Hair Art section, Kim Hyemi won silver, Ko Yuyoung won silver, and Jin Jinbeom won silver in the same category. Im Ayeon won silver and Bak Hyeonji won bronze in the Hairstyle section. The Youth Human Resources Project Hairstylist Training Program addresses the mismatch between human resources in Jeju and those demanded by the industry, and offers students courses in Mobile Systems and Device Protection, Spa and Medical Skin Care, and Hairstyling.
