On June 26, CHU signed an MOU to produce human resources for the 3D printing industry and expand the base of the industry in Jeju. The MOU was signed with Jeju Province, Jeju Creative Economy Revolution Center, Jeju Techno Park, Korea 3D Printing Association, Daum Kakao and NXD. On the same day, CHU hosted the 7th Creative Makers' 3D Printing in Jeju event. The organizations signed the MOU to lay out in detail plans to provide programs to produce human resources with the job skills required by the industry in Jeju. This MOU will improve the ability of Jeju to foster 3D printing businesses, use the products for the tourism contents industry, and improve the skills of employees in the industry. It is expected that the 6 organizations will continue to work together ever more closely thanks to this agreement. Yu Seonjin, director of CHU's 3D Technology Center, said 'through this agreement, we will be able to offer research programs, seminars, academic conferences and other such exchanges, which will make significant contributions to the 3D printing industry in Jeju and help produce the human resources it requires.'
