On March 13, 2015, members of CHU's International Affairs Office signed an MOU covering a Professor Exchange Agreement with China's Bijujungdeung School. The agreement completed the process of accepting the formal invitation from CHU for Professor Kang Soseong to conduct research at CHU. In addition, the agreement covers an overseas study program project at CHU for Chinese students. In February, Zhang Jiacheng, President of Sunyeongramhae Employment School, which CHU also signed an agreement of mutual cooperation with, visited the campus of CHU and was treated to a tour of Jeju Island. Professor Shin Euigyeong, Director of the International Affairs Office, said "We are looking forward to further developing our relationship with these two institutions, and we are sure that both parties will greatly benefit from mutual cooperation." Bijujungdeung School was founded in 1985, and was designated in 2006 a National Job Skills Focused School by the Chinese Ministry of Education. It has 504 staff members and over 5000 students, in addition to 2000 students at its Continuing Education Center.
